Pre-certified insurance is insurance in which the patient has been authorized to undergo the MRI scan procedure by their insurer and establishes that the insurance company is willing to pay for the medical services in question.

NOTE: pre-certification does not guarantee coverage. However, without it, there is no chance of the insurer covering the MRI scan procedure.

Yes, we need a physician, chiropractor, dentist, oral surgeon, PA, or NP order to perform the exam. However, there are limited exceptions for screening exams such as aortic aneurysm screening, and carotid artery screening. This would include screening exams such as “MRA abdomen without contrast, MRA carotid without contrast, and MRA without contrast of the circle of Willis.

Current costs for our services are below:

Due to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, as we are an essential service, we are taking the following precautions to ensure patient safety:

  • only treats ONE patient at a time; therefore reducing patient traffic and transmission of illness
  • has the same 1.5Tesla quality magnet as offered by area hospitals...but with far less staffing
  • has the lowest cost (*299 per MRI scan) in the Indianapolis region
  • patients enjoy a new, state of the art facility that is designed for only outpatient treatment. Therefore, there are no "in-patients" or ill patients coming to our facility for treatment
